Bangalore - Mysore - Ooty - Kodaikanal - Munnar - Thekkady - Alleppey - Cochin
12 Days/ 11 Nights

Day 1

Bangalore: You will be greeted at the Bangalore airport/railway station from where you will be taken to the hotel. Bangalore is much more than the capital city of Karnataka state, as it has become the IT capital of the country. In the afternoon, you will venture on a tour of the Garden City by visiting the green covered Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park, the renowned Iskon Sri Krishna Temple, Vidhan Soudha. After the tour, you can engage in a bit of shopping at the Commercial Street. In the evening, you will return back to hotel where you will have your overnight stay.

Day 2

Bangalore - Mysore:  In the morning, after breakfast, you will begin your journey to the enchanting, royal city of Mysore. On your way, you will stop by at Srirangapatana, to visit the once capital of King Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan. You will reach Mysore by noon, where you will check in at the hotel. In the evening, you will grace the beauty of nature at the Brindavan Garden, spread across an area of 150 acres. The musical fountain and light show installations add to the nature’s entertainment. At night, you will return back to the hotel where you will have your overnight stay.

Day 3

Mysore: In the morning, after breakfast, you will visit the magnificent Mysore Palace, where you get to see remains of a royal past. Later, you will visit the Mysore Zoo, renowned for its size and collection of rare species of wild life.

Day 4

Mysore - Ooty:  In the morning, after breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and begin your journey to the marvel of Ooty. On the way, you will stop by at the impressive Mudumalai forest and Bandipur forest. You will check in at the hotel as soon as you arrive in Ooty. In the evening, you will visit the renowned Botanical garden where you get to see the amazing collection of plants and flowers. You can pleasure self with boating at the Ooty Lake, and Horse-back riding. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 5

Ooty - Kodaikanal: In the morning, you will begin your journey to another amazing hill station, Kodaikanal. You will check in to the hotel and will be at leisure to warm you up to the wonderful tour of the cool hill station the next morning.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6

Kodaikanal: In the morning, after the breakfast, you will brace the wonders of the amazing climate by having a local tour of Kodaikanal. You will cover the Byrant Park, Coakers walk, Pillar rock and Suicide point, through the wonderful mist covered atmosphere. In the evening, you will proceed to Kodai Lake, where you can pleasure self with boating and cycling. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

Kodaikanal - Munnar: In the morning, after breakfast, you will begin the journey to Munnar. By noon, you will check in at the hotel. Munnar with its extensive cover of tea gardens, mist clad hills, sanctuaries, and scenic towns; you can enjoy the amazing climate to the best. You will stay at Munnar till noon. In the afternoon, you proceed onto a tour of Rajamala, a portion of the Eravikulam National Park, home of the Nilgiri Thar. Half of the world’s endangered Nilgiri Thar resides here. You will enjoy the rest of the day at the hotel / resort.

Day 8

Munnar: In the morning, you will visit Mattupetty, an echo point renowned for its echo phenomenon. Famous for the Indo-Swiss livestock project, the dam is covered by the greenery of the forest, grass land and the beautiful Kundala tea plantation. In the afternoon, you will get amazing view of Munnar from the Pothmedu view point, from where you will proceed to the blossom park. At the end of the day, return back to the hotel / resort.

Day 9

Munnar - Thekkady: In the morning you will start your journey to Thekkady. You will get there by noon. In the afternoon, you will have an incredible voyage through the Periyar on boat, where you get to see lush green forest and wild life of the Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary. Interestingly, this is the only sanctuary in India where you can experience wild life at close proximity within the safety of a boat. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 10

Thekkady - Alleppey: In the morning, you will proceed to Alleppey. By noon, you will board a house boat in Alleppey for a 20 hour long house boat voyage through the renowned, stunning backwaters of Kerala. On way you will get to see a glimpse of country life, activities and spectacular backwater sceneries. Overnight stay will be in the comfort of the house boat itself. A House boat is a customized private boat with fully furnished living area, hygiene kitchen, bedroom, dining area and a private front deck to capture the scintillating beauty of the backwaters.

Day 11

Alleppey - Cochin: In the morning after the breakfast, you will get off the houseboat and venture to the Cochin for a bit of shopping. You can engage in shopping at various sites including Antique shops. Follows a fantastic tour of the city linked to the past, covering Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, unique Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace. In the evening, you will check in to the hotel where you will have your overnight stay.

Day 12

Cochin: In the morning after the breakfast, you will get off the houseboat and venture to the Cochin for a bit of shopping. You will spend the afternoon roaming the city and shopping. You willbid bye to the tour as your tour will end at the Cochin airport/ railway station.
